Joe Dreher aka JOEKINGATL

I consider myself a social artist. People are my primary interest and it is my appreciation for people that informs so much of my creative work. My work is always multi-dimensional because I see a world where people are not flat. My work does not seek to capture or take but to give and to elevate. No matter how my work may evolve, or into what media I may explore, you will always find that I center myself through my great affection for people.

Joe is a graduate of Savannah College of Art & Design with a Master of Architecture Degree and the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Architecture Award. He is a fellow of The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and 701 CCA. He has completed commissions for many private and public entities including The High Museum of Art, The Arthur Blank Foundation, Darla Moore Foundation, The Salvation Army's Boys and Girls Club, Invesco, Mabra Law, Living Walls, Charleston Parks Conservancy, City ofAlpharetta, City of Atlanta, Elevate, Riviera International Film Festival, New City Properties, Savannah College of Art & Design,Passion City Church and Westside Presbyterian Church.

Joe currently lives between Decatur, Georgia and Lake City, South Carolina. He recently had a ten year retrospective exhibition at Georgia State Perimeter College in Clarkston, Georgia and a solo exhibition at Acline Studios in Lake City, SC where he also created the first crosswalk mural in the city for Artfields 2025.
