Seacoast Artists Guild is proud to be affiliated with the students at Coastal Carolina University Department of Art. Encouraging young artists is the best way to insure that creativity in art continues. For the past few years we have sponsored the Student Art Show and awarded scholarships to the top students.
Walter and Marcelle Cushman began the Seacoast Artists Guild to promote the work of local artists. One thing they especially wanted to do was to support the efforts of student artists. Through the Cushman Fund, which is named after Walter and Marcelle, it is with great pride that we continue their wishes by recognizing the work of the student artists at Coastal Carolina University.
